Many times when working with members of the LGBT community, we as professionals sometimes are not able to truly exemplify the experiences of the “B” within the acronym. The “B” which comprises members of our bisexual students friends and students. “Bi any other name” is truly a book that allows its readers to gain an understanding of the experiences of members of the bisexual community. Throughout this book there are stories that relate to the topics such as: myths and realities of bisexuality, spirituality, acceptance within the gay community, and understanding of self.
The memoirs written within this book are truly personal and provide a great resource for those interested: in providing support for the bisexual community; or a great resource for students who may have questions pertaining to bisexuality.
